Martin Fraser was our guest speaker in April. Martin spoke to attendees about the role of government during the pandemic, and how we are equipping for the future challenges of a changing workplace. He spoke of how the civil and public service will need a ‘rewiring’ to meet the significant climate challenge among others. Martin sees a vital role in the formation of policy for state agencies and welcomes ACESA’s partnership in this regard. He also asked members to be mindful of the evolving situation in Northern Ireland and encouraged ACESA to engage with the Shared Island Unit and colleagues across the border.
